Have you heard of Morehead City? It’s actually known as the gen of “Crystal Coast of North Carolina.” Morehead City is the largest town in Carteret County and located on the East Coast of North Carolina. The area enjoys a temperate climate and has some of the most amazing beaches. As of 2010, the population of Morehead City was The population was 8,661 (according to the 2010 census). On May 5th, 2007, Morehead City celebreated the 150th anniversary of its founding. Until recently, Morehead City was known as resort community than a major port. There’s a large commercial charter-fishing fleet thats based in a centralized downtown location. Right nearby, there’s excellent proximity to the Atlantic Beach and nearby restaurants.
